Additional Skill Acquisition Programme (ASAP) is the skill training program conducted by the Government of Kerala. Regular Programme of ASAP 2018-19 with the Foundation Module is in progress. The SDE assigned by ASAP was introduced to the institution by the PM. Separate guidelines for conducting the Foundation Module were also issued and the course is nearing completion in online mode.

The foundation module ASAP trainees shall undergo a mandatory soft skill training programme of 180 hours. The module includes 100 hours of the Communication module and a basic IT module of 80 hours. Foundation modules help students improve their presentation skills, raise their confidence level, groom them to be better individuals by inculcating moral values, etc. Students attend foundation course training before or after their regular class time.
