Energy Conservation Club

The world is facing a global energy crisis. Most of the energy we currently use is generated using fossil fuels that cause pollution and lead to global warming. Nuclear energy is powerful but it is hazardous. Power cuts are common in big cities and rural regions suffer power shortages for hours. Faced with an increasing demand for energy and scarce means to meet this growing demand, it is necessary to use energy generated from existing sources more judiciously.

The Energy Conservation Club instills a sense of duty in students to respect and conserve energy resources as well as adopt energy-conserving practices in homes and neighborhoods.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CLUB

  • Create awareness of the need for Energy Conservation.
  • Popularize the means of Energy Conservation among the common man.
