The Grievance Redressal Cell looks into grievances submitted by students related to harassment, campus facility, classroom management, syllabus completion, and so on. The Cell members meet periodically to discuss and resolve issues.
The College has set up four levels of Grievance Redressal where concerns related to academic and non-academic matters can be addressed. A complaint from an aggrieved student relating to the college shall be addressed to the Grievance Redressal Cell with the following composition: Principal (Chairperson), Vice Principal, two Senior Faculty members, and Student Representatives. A student can approach the upper level only if a grievance is not addressed at the lower level.
Teacher level– Grievance regarding the evaluation shall be brought to the notice of the teacher concerned.
Department level – If not satisfied with the decision of the teacher concerned, she may appeal to the department level chaired by the Head of the Department and the teacher-in-charge as members.
College-level- The student has the freedom to make a further appeal to the college-level committee with the Principal as Chairperson, HOD of the concerned Department and a senior teacher nominated by the College Council as members.
University level- If the student is still not satisfied, she may appeal to the University level committee constituted by the Vice-Chancellor.
Complaints can be filed online through The Smart Grievance facility or can be placed in the Grievance box. The Cell coordinator attends to these issues and resolves them as soon as possible.
