Hostel

‘Home away from home’ is what defines Morning Star College Hostel. The hostel provides homely stay for our resident students. It can provide accommodation to 250 students. A separate hostel facility is provided to the faculty. The hostel is under the direct control of a Resident Warden who will look after the welfare and the good conduct of the hostel inmates. The Principal is the ex-officio General Warden of the hostel.

Situated at the heart of a five-acre lush green college campus, the hostel offers a safe and comfortable stay for the inmates. Neat, ventilated, and cozy rooms are the hallmark features of our hostel facility. The dining hall has a seating capacity of 250 students. The hostel mess provides nutritious and homely food to the residents. The residents are served a well-balanced diet. A steamer is used for cooking food. The biogas plant serves the purpose of generating fuel as well as managing biodegradable waste. Incinerators are installed in the hostel for eco-friendly disposal of sanitary napkins. Apart from well water, a large underground concrete water storage tank is also built to ensure a constant water supply. Three water purifiers set up in the hostel provide purified and safe drinking water to the residents at all times of the day. Uninterrupted power supply, CCTV surveillance, and the availability of security are other highlights of our hostel.
