The potential of volunteers in emergency response was well understood in the floods of 2018. In light of the lessons learned post floods 2018, Hon'ble Chief Minister directed Kerala State Disaster Management Authority to establish a common platform for all volunteers and voluntary organizations in the State to work in tandem with Government functionaries. 

Dr. Teji K.T serves as the nodal officer of this club and the college has registered 22 volunteers for the services of the club. Online training sessions were attended by our students. Ms. Dinju Mariya Davis (B.Sc Physics)  served at CIAL during the pandemic.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CLUB

• To instill a sense of selfless service in students.
• Train students to rise and respond to emergency situations.
• Provide platforms where students can contribute to helping in crisis situations.
