The Research Center of the Home Science Department was inaugurated by Major Archbishop His Eminence Cardinal George Alencherry on 20th July 2018 on the glorious occasion of the Golden Jubilee Finale Celebration of Morning Star Home Science College.

The institution attempts to ensure a favorable ambiance for research ventures that benefits society. Currently, there are eight research scholars. The institute motivates the research activities of the faculty. The Library offers ample print and e-resources for intellectual minds.
