Staff association ensures the effective functioning of the college as well as the welfare of the staff members through creative involvement and timely inputs. The secretary of the association is in charge of co-ordinating and leading the functions of the association. There are seperate associations for teaching and non- teaching faculty members. Along with productive contributions for the functioning of the college, the association takes interest in conducting get togethers, celebrating special occassions and arranging staff trips.
Departments of Family and Community Science, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Commerce and English have formed associations. They conduct seminars, workshops, quiz programmes, lectures etc. on topics related to each discipline. Inter disciplinary programmes are also organized.
Every parent / guardian becomes a member of the association once his / her ward gets admitted as a student of this college. The associatioin is actively involved in the various academic and co-curricular activities of the college.
The membership open tothe former students and staff of the college. Every year the second saturday of August is celebrated as the Alumini Day.
Former Teachers'Forum acts as a platform for the re-union of the former teachers of the college. It also serves the functions of bridging the former and present faculty and effecting a feeling of solidarity. The forum helps the retired staff members to keep in touch with the institution as well as with each other.
The forum has the special aim of celebrating the diversity of Indian culture and enabling our students to imbibe the true essence of this diversity. This is achieved by fostering fratenity and respect towards other religions.
